If you couldn’t already tell, we are going to extend Brian into June. I’m uncertain about July. He will start football camp 4 days per week after the 4th. That might be too much if you throw in that they are also going to be lifting through the month as well. I will let you know as we get closer to the end of the month.
I do want to share with you Brian’s results from his profile testing. In December before he started your workouts, I clocked him on the 40 at right around 6.2. The high school football team does profile testing twice, once in February and again in May. This is really to get a read on how their weight training program is going. They determine max lifted weight for bench, squat, and clean. They run 40 yds, 10 yds, pro-agility, and vertical leap. In February, Brian’s 40 time was 5.45. His time yesterday was 5.00. His verticle leap increased from 21 to 24.5, from Feb to May. These are incredible results which granted are due partly to the school lifting program, but I am also convinced that your program has made a significant contribution to these results.
I am really wondering why the high school sports programs don’t promote this more. It is hard to imagine what the results would be for the team if there were more participants. Have you approached the high school coach about offering a group plan? I am seriously considering making that recommendation for the next off-season.
